POSTAL CONNECTIONS: 'CRO COP' CLOSE TO SIGNING WITH DSE/PRIDE

Hello my friends, my postal connections in both the DSE/PRIDE organization and Croatia are telling me that DSE/PRIDE is currently in advanced negotiations with the management of Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic, and that they are about to make a very substantial offer to Cro Cop that both parties feel will see him remain with the PRIDE promotion.

The offer is supposedly going to be worth more then USD$2.5 million per fight. Both parties expect to have the contract signed this week, and the announcement will supposedly be officially made on PRIDE's December 31st card.

Cro Cop maybe goes to Jungle Fight 7 Assuério Silva and Vitor Miranda are already in Slovene since yesterday and they completed the Brazilian group that will be in action at the Jungle Fight 7. “Assuério was pretty happy when he saw the Jungle poster where he is holding the arm of the Italian fighter Aléssio Sakara at Jungle Fight 3”, said Wallid Ismail, the event’s promoter. TATAMEの記事には、この大会はインターネットやTVで日本を始めとする世界各国に配信されると書いてあるが、期待しないで待っていよう。
なんせ ジャングル・ファイトだし。

　12月31日(日)さいたまスーパーアリーナで開催される『PRIDE 男祭り 2006 -FUMETSU-』の対戦カードが2試合追加発表された。発表されたのは、郷野聡寛VS近藤有己、ジョシュ・バーネットVSアントニオ・ホドリゴ・ノゲイラ。

9/10の無差別級GPファイナルラウンドから3ヶ月でのジョシュ対ノゲイラの再戦。
カードの出し惜しみをしないというより、このカードを温存しておくというPRIDEの余裕のなさみたいなものが感じられたりして。

永田 王者・鈴木に招待状送る

　１・４東京ドームで３冠ヘビー級王座に挑戦する永田が１７日、王者・鈴木に２４日の新日本・後楽園大会への招待状を送ることを明かした。永田は「今のオレを知らないだろ。十分に研究させてやる」と余裕の表情で「ベルトをはがせば、全日本に上がる必要性もなくなる。おのずと新日本に上がるしかなくなるだろ」と、鈴木の引き抜き工作も画策していた。
