Ken Shamrock vs Kimo

Round One: The main event begins and both fighters take the center of the ring. Kimo jabs his way in and clinches, but Ken defends the takedown attempt well and pushes Kimo against the fence. Kimo pushes off the fence and both Ken and Kimo are moving around the Octagon in the clinch. Ken lands several knees to Kimo's body and a nice left hand.

Ken lands another knee as the crowd begins to chant for Ken. 3:45 left as Kimo pushes Ken against the fence. Ken pushes Kimo off the fence and lands a HUGE knee from the clinch that knocks Kimo down! Kimo turtles up and Ken follows him down, but BJM steps in and stops the fight.

Winner: Ken Shamrock by referee stoppage, RD 1.

第１ラウンド:メインイベントは開始し、両者はリングの中心に立つ。キモはジャブを放ちクリンチ。ケンはテイクダウンの試みをよく防御し、キモをフェンスに押しつける。キモはフェンスから押し返すがケンとキモはクリンチ状態でオクタゴンの際を移動する。ケンはキモのボディと左手に数発ヒザを落す。

観客がケンへの声援を送り始めるとケンが更にヒザを落とす。残り3分45秒　キモがケンをフェンスに押しつける。ケンはキモを押しフェンスから離れクリンチ状態から怒涛のヒザ攻撃！キモはダウン！キモは仰向け状態、ケンはキモをフォールしようとするが、BJMがリングに入り試合を止めた。

訳は相変わらず意味不明な部分がありますがご勘弁。
懐かしの二人がメインイベントをつとめるUFC48は、約1分半という短い時間であっけなく終了。
初期UFCを沸かせた怪人キモも今は昔か。
シャムロックも長いよな　と郷愁的な気分になる一戦でした。
